Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of the website operated by Smart Contents Corporation (inbound.smartcontents.co.jp) and the consulting / free-consultation services initiated through it.

We provide Japan market-entry support services for overseas founders and foreign-capital companies (feasibility, incorporation, Business Manager visa support, banking, hiring, sales localisation). Scope, deliverables and fees of each engagement are defined in the executed contract or statement of work.

Submission of the inquiry form alone does not constitute a contract. An engagement is formed when the customer accepts our proposal or quotation in writing or electronically.

Fees are defined per contract. Advance payment in principle; bank transfer fees are borne by the customer. See theSpecified Commercial Transactions disclosurefor details.

The customer agrees to provide information and documents necessary for the engagement, perform reviews promptly, and coordinate with relevant parties. Delays in cooperation may impact schedule or deliverable quality.

We treat customer confidential information disclosed during the engagement as confidential during and for a reasonable period after the engagement. A mutual NDA may be executed separately on request.

Unless otherwise agreed, intellectual property rights in know-how and templates used by us in the engagement remain with us. Handling of customer-specific final deliverables is defined in the engagement contract.

We do not guarantee outcomes determined by administrative authorities, tax/legal rulings, exchange rate fluctuations, or third-party service changes that are outside our reasonable control.

Personal information is handled per ourPrivacy Policy. Smart Contents Corporation is a Privacy Mark certified company.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction at first instance.

We may amend these Terms as required. Amendments take effect when posted on this website.
